Our Physiotherapists aim to assess, diagnose and effectively treat pain, improve movement and prevent the problem reoccurring. We will listen to your situation and prepare a treatment plan, selecting those techniques most beneficial to you. These include careful mobilization and manipulation as well as specific postural and ergonomic advice. We will carefully show you exercises to do at home between treatments. There is evidence that these hugely help the outcome of your treatment. The number of sessions will depend on the severity of your condition and commitment to home exercise program given by our therapist. Common problems treated by our team include upper and lower limbs pain and injuries, back pain and sciatica, neck pain, whiplash and headaches, fractures and dislocations and repetitive strain injury. As a valuable component of our multidisciplinary practice, Physiotherapy has one main priority: to provide personalised, highly skilled hands-on techniques that maximize levels of physical function and mobility.
Our health is optimised only when all of the tissues and cells of the body function together as a holistic unit. As such, our Osteoptathy practice offers non-invasive techniques to balance out any body dysfunction such as joints, muscles, circulation, internal organs or spines. Based on the discipline that one’s own body has the innate ability to heal itself, our Osteopath, using a hands-only approach, moves muscles and joints with gentle techniques, including stretching, point pressure and resistance, to change our Members’ physiology and restore their health.
